The key of Awesome is something created by BarelyPolitical that is a famous youtube channel. This song is a parody of the music "What do you want from me?" from Adam Lambert. If you haven't seen the original video yet you will not understand. And if you don't know what Adam Lambert did on the AMA's, well, you have been living under a rock.

Already from the beginning the song implies humor because in the original video he seems afraid of something and it seems that when he "hangs around his house", like it says on the lyrics, he hangs theatrical because he is always looking if someone is watching him and then he stares at the camera... it's weird.
He also, at least with his eyes, seems to be asking us why we are filming him because he seems to be confused when he looks directly to the camera, and it seems that he has some kind of problem with us watching him in his house...
Oh and it makes me giggle when the guy playing Adam Lambert on the parody video does that scene when he is reading a book because it's exactly how the real Adam Lambert does in his video, the only difference is the lyrics but the rest is equal. It's really awkward when he looks at us in his video when he is reading the book because it looks like that was filmed during a break and that the camera man was annoying him, so it looks that he is telling to the camera man that he just wants to read his book.
Ah, I love the part when in the parody he sings " Do you like my hair up / Or does it look better down? " because it's a way to make fun of the several times that in his video he changes his hair.
I also loved it the references that the parody song does about the AMA's, mainly when he says va-jay-jay, because I love when that word was used on Anatomy Grey and when Oprah Winfrey uses it.
And that's why I really like this song.
